Price of 'Affordable Health Care?'

What does “Affordable Health Care” really mean
to WE the SHEEPLE? Are you signed up yet? The
fun is just beginning!
We citizens are viewing the socialist farce of
Obamacare as it evolves or should I say morphs
in all four compass directions to suit this
administrations fancies …special waivers for
certain big business as well as House and Senate
favoritism … the stench of this law is being
rewritten hourly. Thanks to Senators Reid and
Pelosi.
Now there is mention that this law will create
“Accountable Care Organizations” or ACOs. These
ACOs will be defined by geographic areas that
contain a defined number of faceless patients.
The body count is what matters, pulse is
optional.
For example, a pilot ACO may blanket a large
area like Northern Idaho from Coeur d'Alene to
the Canadian border.
You the patient, at first, won’t know that you
“belong” to the ACO. However the government has
assigned you, if you are a Medicare recipient,
to a specific ACO.
The ACOs will then be held responsible for care
quality and cost containment, as defined by the
government. That in and of itself should scare
all lemmings! As Nancy Pelosi said “pass the
bill first then read it” … now we can see the
ramification of that pathetic piece of
legislation choking the middle and lower class
citizens of this country while jamming Obamacare
down our larynx like bad medicine.
These ACOs will be managed by CFOs (Chief
Financial Officers), or should I say select
individuals responsible for riding herd on
participating doctors and hospitals willing to
play the federal bureaucracy game.
Most of these CFOs will have no medical back
ground … the bottom-line “costs” are what
matters. With this president and his
administration, you play by their rules only -
no negotiation, or they whine and call you names
like spoiled socialist dictators that they are.
The intent of all this, is a three stage shell
game to bring about the death of private medical
practice in America as we know it.
Before you shut me out, please finish this
article first … then step back and watch the
degradation of the world’s best healthcare
systems absorbed into a nightmarish federal
bureaucracies black hole.
STEP ONE: America will be sliced up
geographically into ACOs, which will gather all
sorts of patient-care data for the feds and will
be paid a fee for service at Medicare rates. The
ACOs will be praised by the biased media and our
President as the saviors of medicine and given
bonuses for quality and cost containment.
Currently, they are being offered 50% cash
rebates for any savings they bring forward.
Patients can choose to go anywhere for care, in
or out of the ACO. Private practitioners outside
the system will be “allowed” to keep practicing,
they will not be forced to join the ACO’s – that
would be “un-American," but these small
practices will be unable to survive the
regulatory burden of Obamacare.
So, these doctors who elect to opt out, will
retire early, or close their private clinics or
simply go to work for the ACO where they think
they will do better financially.
STEP TWO: Once private practitioners are
squeezed out of existence, there will be no
competition. The ACOs will be the only cabaret
in town and totally under the thumb of the
federal government. At this point, the bonus
money will go away, and the feds will squeeze
down payments to doctors and hospitals. These
bonuses are simply bribes given to businesses by
government in order to make them dependent serfs
of the state system.
Small hospitals will have to consolidate under
larger ones or go out of business. At this
point, to prepare for the final step, rumblings
of problems in the ACOs will start … another
looming crisis – are you getting used to
manipulated crisis management under this
administration?
STEP THREE: As government reimbursements
diminish and there is no private option, the
system will fail to deliver adequate care.
Patients won’t be able to get appointments or
timely surgery, doctors will complain, hospital
staffs will strike and in general the system
will implode.
Now government is always ready to leap into
breach and will declare a national crisis and
push through emergency legislation, that is
already in the system, to nationalize health
care.
Hospitals will be taken over by the feds,
doctors and nurses and all necessary personnel
will have no choice in the matter. “Never let a
good crisis go to waste," Rahm Emanuel once
stated.
At the stroke of a pen, health insurance will
cease to exist, and perhaps the companies who
sold insurance will be placed in charge of
administrating these ACOs. This path is already
being paved as big companies like Blue Cross are
given government contracts to administer
Medicare.
Think this can’t happen?
Even some of the ACO administrators admit they
are being set up to fail. But fail to what end?
To the goal which has been the goal all along –
establish a National Health Service like Canada,
or England, or Sweden.
This is not a medical or societal evolution;
this is programmed incremental revolution, and
we, like the Russians, the French etc., will pay
the price, because when free market medicine
goes, so goes our freedom.
The power that brings about this government
takeover will not be limited just to medicine.
It will consume every facet of the social and
economic life of America.
All under the façade that WE the SHEEPLE aren’t
smart enough to take care of ourselves!
Grasp the hypocrisy of a government
administration that requires every citizen to
“prove” they are insured but not everyone must
prove they are citizens … And now!
Any of those who refuse, or are unable to prove
they are citizens will receive free insurance
paid for by those who are forced to purchase
insurance because they are citizens. |
