April will mark the 10th anniversary of Callie's Niche, 6429 Bonner Street in downtown Bonners Ferry, and owner Callie Gahr is going to make it special as a way to express her thanks for everyone for being there and supporting her business.

On April 1st and 2nd, she'll be giving away over $250 in prizes, there'll be quilt trivia, new fabris for the season and there's always a sale of some sort on.

She began Callie's Niche in 2001 on Fourth Street, offering quilting, notions, mending and alterations and more, then she moved the business to Main Street, then again to her old location on Bonner Street before moving into her current location in 2004.

She said the years have gone by fast, and that it seems amazing it's already been a decade.

Everyone's invited to stop in and say "Hi!" as she celebrates throughout the coming month. Callie's Niche is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
