Mt. Hall kindergarten registration set

Registration for the 2011-2012 kindergarten
school year at Mt. Hall Elementary will be held
at the school from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April
15.
Kindergarten teacher Angie Schnuerle will be
there to meet her incoming class.
School nurse Paulette Ketner will conduct
screenings for height, weight and vision, and
she'll also be checking immunization records to
make sure new students are up to date.
The parents of new kindergartners enrolling for
next fall need to bring the child's immunization
record and birth certificate to show that the
new student will be five years of age by
September 1.
For immunizations, kids born after September 1,
1999, must have had two doses of the MMR vacine,
five doses of DTP and three doses of polio.
Kinds born on or before September 1, 1999, just
have one MMR dose, four DTP doses and three
polio doses. Children born on or before November
22, 1999, should have three doses of Hepatitis
B, and it is recommended that children receive a
Varicella and Hepatitis A vaccination. |
