Merchants asked to stay open late for Earth
Day
|
April 13, 2011 |
In anticipation of a lot of people visiting
Bonners Ferry and participating in the Earth Day
Fair April 23, Bonners Ferry merchants are being
asked to keep their doors open until 7 p.m.
Friday, April 22.
Earth Day events will be going on at the
fairgrounds, and the museum and the Bonners
Ferry Chamber is anticipating an even bigger
turnout than they had last year, their first
year celebrating the day. There'll be musicians
performing, exhibits celebrating sound
environmental practices, speakers and a lot
more. This year, the Chamber has spread their
advertising beyond our local community, and the
response has been outstanding.
To read more about the event,
click
here, or to register to participate in the
Earth Day Fair, visit the Chamber website,
http://www.bonnersferrychamber.com.
Businesses who agree to stay open late on
Friday, and who let the Chamber know of their
plans by this Friday, April 15, will be listed
in a Chamber ad to run in the April 21 Herald,
at no cost to you!
To take part, call (208) 267-5922 or email
Brittany at
bonnersferrychamber@hotmail.com. |
