There was so
much to see and do at the 2011 Bonners
Ferry Earth Day Fair, some people just
had to catch a few winks between booths.

The 2011 Earth Day Fair in Bonners Ferry was a
great success over the weekend with over 450
people visiting the Fair. They enjoyed a wide
variety of displays and information presented by
32 vendors, including gardening tips, solar
energy, fair trade products, wilderness and
forestry information, and green living products
to name a few.
Kids had a great time making newspaper hats,
sock puppets, bean bags and planting seeds.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed live music
throughout the day provided by four different
and very talented musical groups.
Good Shepherd Lamb Co. kept the gyros and kebabs
coming off the grill and were nicely
complimented by the all-fruit smoothies made by
Under the Sun.
The Fair was sponsored by the Bonners Ferry
Chamber of Commerce and received additional
sponsorships from 14 other businesses and
organizations.
Thanks go out to the large group of dedicated
volunteers who helped organize this year's
event, and plans are already underway for next
year, when we plan to expand the Earth Day Fair
to a two-day event r.
