Bonners Ferry woman shot and killed

A Naples woman died of a single gun-shot wound to the head, and her roommate, 61-year old John "August" Funkhouser has been arrested and is being held in the Boundary County Jail.

According to the Boundary County Sheriff''s Office, Funkhouser called 911 and reported the shooting at about 1:45 p.m. Friday, November 4, and deputies arriving in the Deep Creek Loop home in the Moravia area found Anna Old, 43, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Boundary County Sheriffs Office and the Idaho State Police have launched a homicide investigation.
