The Boundary County
courthouse Christmas tree is up and beautifully
decorated, and the pile of new toys beneath it
grows daily as courthouse staff and members of
the public generously donate to make Christmas a
little brighter for county kids through Project
Care n’Share.
Founded more than 30 years
ago and still managed by Linda Lederhos, Care
n’Share is similar to Toys for Tots, but all
donations for Care n’Share remain in the
community, going to local kids who might not
otherwise have anything under the tree when they
wake up Christmas morning.
While the application
deadline to receive Care n’Share gifts has
passed, there is a tremendous amount of need
this year, and a lot of Christmas trees to put
cheer under, and all donations are very much
appreciated.
All gifts left under the
courthouse tree this holiday season will be
given to Project Care n’Share, in hopes that no
Boundary
County child will go without a gift
to cherish on Christmas day.
