Car hits school bus near Deary, Idaho |

The Idaho State Police has reported that a
head-on collision between a school bus and a
passenger car Tuesday that sent the driver of
the car to the hospital, but did not injure the
school bus driver or two students who were still
aboard.
According to the ISP, Georgiajo H. Beyer, 45,
Bovill, Idaho, was driving a 1990 Ford Crown
Victoria west on Texas Bridge Road in Latah
County at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 20,
when he went into a curve on the wrong side of
the road and hit a 2005 International school bus
driven by Goldie M. Capps, 45, Troy, Idaho. The
bus was carrying two students, a 17 year old
girl and a seven year old boy.
Beyer, who was wearing seatbelts, was
transported to Gritman Hospital, Moscow, for
treatment of his injuries.
According to the ISP, snow and ice on the gravel
road may have contributed to the collision. |
