Nursery grower training offered |

The
University of Idaho Extension in Bonner County
and the Idaho Nursery and Landscape Association
are pleased to offer an eight-week course
designed to help green industry professionals
prepare for the Certified Nursery Professional
exam to be held on March 27, 2012. The Certified Nursery Professional has expertise and valuable credentials that will improve their ability to serve their customers. The course not only covers technical aspects of horticulture, but also business and customer service aspects of a green industry business. The course will closely follow the comprehensive CNP manual and will be held on eight consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning February 1, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Silverwood Theme Park meeting room, 27843 North Highway 95 Athol, Idaho. The course and exam are open to all professionals who have at least one year experience in the nursery industry. Cost of the course is $125 and scholarships may be available.
