MLK celebration set for Sunday |

The Boundary County Human Rights Task Force
announced that Martin Luther King/Human Rights
Day will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday, January
15, in the basement at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Bonners Ferry Mayor Dave Anderson will preside.
Local residents Susan Edwards, Becky Peterson,
Paul Bonnell and Howard Kent will share some of
their experiences growing up in Boundary County
and in other parts of this diverse world.
Entertainment will be provided by Kathy Sheffle
and Barb Robertson, and others may join in as
well.
Winning artwork will be displayed, and the prize
essay, "I Have Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s
Dream," will be read.
Everyone is invited, refreshments will be
served. |
