The first Boundary County baby of 2012 is
Paisley Ann Maas, born to Rebecca Maas, Bonners
Ferry, on January 6 at Bonner General Hospital,
Sandpoint.
She weighed six pounds, 15.5 ounces and was 19
1/4 inches long.
Paisley's grandparents are Russ and Cindy Maas,
Bonners Ferry.
Keeping up a long-standing traditioin, several
local businesses showered mom and baby with
gifts.
Baby Go Round gave Mom a $25 gift certificate,
Wells Fargo Bank opened a $25 savings account to
give Paisley a good financial start on life, and
Pape Machinery gave a sippy cup and a warm John
Deere blanket for Paisley to cuddle up in.
Katie Bluemenauer Photography donated a free
photo session, Mane Street Hair treated Paisley
to her first hair style, and Bonners Books
presented her her very first book, "The Runaway
Bunny."
Safeway presented a gift basket full of
necessities, including baby wipes, powder,
shampoo, lotion and bath soap, Huckleberry
Variety donated a gift basket as well, and the
Bonners Ferry Herald presented a gift bag with a
bow, bib and an assortment of baby clothes. |
