In recognition of images she took during the

Greece
last year, local photographer Andrea Kramer was
awarded top honors in the International
International Association of Chiefs of Police
photography contest in the professional
category.
The award was presented to
her at the International Torch Run conference in
Calgary, Alberta.
Dave and Andrea Kramer, who
own and operate Stampede Lake Studio-Kramer
Photography, have received top honors the last
three years, with David Kramer winning first
place in the professional category in 2010 and
Andrea in 2009.
The couple combine their
passion of photography and support of Special
Olympics by being involved with the law
enforcement torch runs to benefit Special
Olympics on a local, national and international
level.
The Kramers were selected
in past events as photographers which included
photographing a National law Enforcement Torch
Run in Nebraska,
two International law enforcement Torch Runs and
two International conferences.
Recently they received
notice that they have been selected again to be
part of the International Torch Run Team as the
photographers leading up to the World Special
Olympic Games in
South Korea in
January 2013.
The Kramers also have some
of their photography portraits coming out in a
book due to be released this March on Amazon by
North Light Books, called “Secrets to Painting
Realistic Faces in Watercolor” by Rick and
Carrie Stuart Parks.
The Parks contacted the
Kramers to obtain some specific types of
portraits to help illustrate portions of their
book.
