KNWR seeks local artists

An Art Show and Sale will be held at Kootenai
National Wildlife Refuge on October 6, 2012. The
free event is being organized by the Friends of
Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge group, and
will feature art, food vendors, and music.
The event will allow residents to explore the
beauty of KNWR and purchase art.
Talented local artists are invited to apply for
10’x10’ booth spaces. Art can be nearly any
medium, as long as it somehow pertains to the
theme of nature.
Applications for artists can be found on the

All submissions will be juried by a panel of
local art professionals.
Applications can be either hand-delivered or
postmarked by Friday, September 7, and must
include a disc of images and a $5 application
fee to Friends of Kootenai National Wildlife
Refuge, Inc. c/o Emily Carpenter, 287 Westside
Road, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805.
