According to the Idaho State Police, Vaughn, the
sole occupant of the vehicle, was driving a 1997
Chevrolet Blazer east on Highway 2 when she
missed a curve, drove off the right side of the
road and rolled her vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
The severity of the crash isn't obvious from the
ISP narrative.
The vehicle left no marks on the highway, went
airborne after leaving the pavement, and clipped
a tree about five feet off the ground, went down
the embankment and continued traveling parallel
to the road for several hundred feet, tearing
through brush before
rolling and coming to rest on its top in a
clump of trees just before the Twin Canyon Road
intersection.
According to her Facebook page Danette had
recently moved to Moyie Springs from her native
Alaska. |
