Ambulance agreement reached |
October 2, 2013 |
After months of often acrimonious debate,
Boundary County Commissioners on Monday entered
into a contract for ambulance service in the
county, in the end retaining the organization
that has served the community for nearly 50
years. Under terms of the contract, Boundary Volunteer Ambulance will continue providing basic and intermediate life support and ground ambulance services in Boundary County for the next three years, receiving from the county the full .04 percent of assessed property value for the first year and $225,000 each of the following two years.
