In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Wynword Press is bringing Dr. Hedva to Bonners Ferry for two appearances, each free to the public, where donations for the Youth Crisis Hotline will be accepted. On Thursday, October 24, Dr. Hedva will be at Bonner Books from noon to 2 p.m. to sign copies of her new book, meet local residents and answer questions. On Saturday, October 26, she will offer a free lecture on "Healing From the Trauma of Domestic Abuse" at the Pearl Theater at 7 p.m. Dr. Hedva will also be available for questions after the lecture. Whether your lover let you down, your co-worker stabbed you in the back, or your life has been shattered by global events, you can get past the pain of betrayal and build a new life based on truth and Self-trust. Step-by-step exercises help readers apply Dr. Hedva's unique approach to turning challenges into growth experiences, allowing readers to face their issues and overcome them! Betrayal, Trust and Forgiveness is available for purchase on www.amazon.com, www.wynwordpress.com and at your local bookstore. Wynword Press, a full service royalty publisher, incorporated in May of 2013, sees the Hedva book tour as an opportunity to bring hope and recovery to people affected by domestic abuse, an approach that aligns perfectly with Wynword Press’s vision. “We have goals beyond just running a business,” said Wynword Press COO Leah Meister. “We hope to be able to create local jobs and provide internships partnering with local programs that provide training for the youth in our area." Wynword Press is on track to release two more books before the end of the year. For more information, check out their website at www.wynwordpress.com. Dr. Hedva is available for interviews while she is in the area; contact Leah Meister at Wynword Press for scheduling: (208) 267-0817 or Leah@wynwordpress.com.
