Idahoans for Excellence in Education, a
statewide coalition of parents, teachers, school
administrators, business leaders and child
advocates, has launched a new website in support
of the Idaho Core Standards. The site is located
at
www.idahocorestandards.org.
"Our coalition hopes that this website will
provide parents and the public with credible
information about how important the Idaho Core
Standards are to our students' success
academically, in the workforce and in life. It
is a one-stop resource for parents who want to
learn more about the Idaho Core Standards and
how they will affect their children's
education,” says Rod Gramer, President of Idaho
Business for Education.
Visitors to the website will have the
opportunity to learn more about the Idaho Core
Standards and how they were developed.
