Boundary County Middle School
The school board is hosting a special community
discussion about school safety. This will be a
community meeting to discuss need of more
complete plans concerning school safety. This
will take place at BFHS at 5 p.m. Tuesday,
November 12.
Lockdown drill to occur this month!
In light of recent events around the country and
to be better prepared for such an event, we will
practice a lockdown drill this month. Teachers
are going over procedures with students during
this first week of November in preparation for
the event. We plan to have another similar drill
this spring.
In order to help communication with parents, we
will be trying to collect parent email addresses
and phone numbers with texting capabilities. Our
hope is to begin using these methods to send out
pertinent information to parents including event
schedules and emergency information.
Thank you for helping us in this monumental
endeavor.
Our school will also begin to collect
information from staff, parents, and students
concerning the school climate and future
aspirations of our school. Please help us
collect this information by completing surveys
in the near future. Thank you for your help in
providing information.
Students in need? We will soon have a collection
of hygiene items for those students who are in
need of them. The efforts of the Families and
Children Coalition will be providing these items
via the schools.
If you are in need of such items, or know of
others who may be, please contact a teacher,
principal, or counselor at BCMS to access these
items. |
