Winter weather advisory now a warning |

The winter storm advisory issued this morning
has been cancelled, and a winter storm warning
calling for three to six inches of valley snow,
effective from 1 a.m. Wednesday through 4 p.m.
Thursday has been put in its place. The warning calls for moderate to heavy snow showers to develop overnight before waning in the valleys late Wednesday, though moderate to heavy snow showers are expected to continue in the mountains into Thursday, bring six to 11 inches of snow to higher elevations. Travel is expected to deteriorate tonight and continue to worsen through Wednesday. Motorists are advised to use extra caution and allow additional time to r4each their destinations. A weather warning indicates a higher certainty of the forecast in the coverage area, with includes Boundary, Bonner Counties and portions Kootenai County in Idaho and much of northeast Washington. |
