Joslyn
Lanai Invernon – Contestant #4
Joslyn Lanai Invernon is sponsored by the
Bonners Ferry Eagles Aerie #3522. She is the
daughter of Eddy and Jody Invernon. She has one
brother, Blaine.
Joslyn plans to attend either Lewis-Clark State
College or Boise State University in order to
later pursue a career as a radiologist or
ultrasound technician.
Joslyn finds historical figures Pocahontas and
Audrey Hepburn interesting, while she also finds
modern film stars Jennifer Lawrence and Al
Pacino fascinating.
In her spare time, Joslyn enjoys hunting,
camping, skiing, and dancing. She participates
in Idaho Leads and FFA.
For her talent, Joslyn will be performing a
modern/contemporary dance.
When asked what makes her least proud of her
generation, Joslyn states, “We can be so
judgmental. Simply because you know someone’s
name doesn’t mean you know their story. Give
someone a chance before you judge.”
Olivia
Ellett Fee – Contestant #5
Olivia Ellett Fee, sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi,
is the daughter of Jeff Fee and Linda Ellet-Fee.
She has three brothers, Shane, Billy and Dustin,
and two sisters, Lisbeth and Aubree.
Olivia’s career path is undecided at this time,
but she plans on attending University of Idaho
to possibly study history or animal science. In
her spare time, Olivia participates in dance
team, Honor Choir, 4-H, Foreign Language
Society, and track.
She enjoys skiing, hiking, and photography.
Modern personalities that interest Olivia are
Casey Anderson and Doris Baver, while historical
figures that interest her are Jennifer Worth and
Sacagawea.
For her talent, Olivia will be singing the song,
“Stay."
When asked what makes Olivia most proud of her
generation she states, “I am most proud because
we live life to the fullest and are determined.
If we want something or we want to become
something, we go for it.”
Savannah
Rose Mendenhall – Contestant #6
Savannah Rose Mendenhall, the daughter of Randy
Burney and Kristie Mendenhall-Burney, is
sponsored by Idaho Women in Timber.
Savannah is interested in pursuing photography,
fitness training, or counseling as a career. Her
plans after high school are undecided, but
Oklahoma State, the University of Hawaii and
Boise State University are colleges she is
considering.
When Savannah is not cheerleading, she also
enjoys gymnastics, golf, riding dirt bikes, and
camping.
Savannah’s favorite musical performer is Taylor
Swift, and Rosa Parks and Amelia Earhart are two
historical figures that interest her.
For her talent, Savannah will be performing a
gymnastics floor routine.
When asked what makes her least proud of her
generation, Savannah states, “I’m least proud
because of our degree of laziness and having no
work ethic. Kids today would rather sit at home
instead of getting a job, volunteering or
traveling. One day they will wake up and realize
all those years are gone, and they can’t go
back.”
Sara
Grace Schrock – Contestant #7
The Bonners Ferry Lions Club is happy to sponsor
Sara Grace Schrock. Sara is the daughter of
Charles Schrock and Robin Meier. She has three
brothers, Douglas, Daniel, and Steven, and one
sister, Jennifer.
After graduation, Sara plans on attending the
University of Idaho, but hasn’t narrowed down
her field of study.
She’s interested in photography, art, graphic
design, theater, and science.
Sara is an avid photographer, and some of her
photos can be seen in the local newspaper. In
addition, she enjoys snowboarding, art, and
painting floats for the homecoming festivities.
Modern personalities that interest Sara are
Batman and Jennifer Lawrence, while Abraham
Lincoln and Oskar Schindler are two historical
figures that fascinate her.
For her talent, Sara will recite a dramatic
monologue.
When asked what makes her most proud of her
generation, Sara states, “We dream big, and
dreaming big will get us far.” She believes
“everything is impossible until someone does
it.” |
