Lecrenski has European dreams

Bonners
Ferry High School junior Kassy Lecrenski, whom
you may have seen working the produce aisle at
Super 1 Foods, is excited about a once in a
lifetime opportunity for travel, and while she's
working hard to make her dream come true on her
own, her community can help her, and her
aspiring classmates, get to where they hope to go.
Kassy has been invited to take part in an
Education First educational tour to Europe.
Instead of spending spring break her senior year
a year from now in Bonners Ferry, she'd rather
join those in her Class of 2015 on a European
tour led by BFHS Spanish teacher Linda Hall,
visiting London, Paris, Florence and Rome,
actually seeing, and touching, the places she's
studied for so many years.
Instead of words and pictures in a textbook,
she'll gain a perspective that can only be
appreciated by actually being there, seeing the
sights first hand, by walking in the very places
she's only pictured in her mind's eye.
To get there, Kassy and each student hoping to
take the trip must raise nearly $4,000 before
the flights can be booked.
Those who'd like to help Kassy live the dream

more about the program can contact an amazing
teacher, Linda Hall, by calling the high school
at (208) 267-3149, or by visiting her webpage by
