Hays, White Employees of the Month

Boundary County School District 101 has selected
George Hays as certified employee of the month
for April and Wendy White as the month's
classified employee.
"Congratulations goes out to Mr. George Hays,
Mount Hall Elementary fifth grade teacher, as
the Boundary County School District’s
Certificated Employee of the Month," said Mt.
Hall Principal Jim Nash. "Mr. Hays brings a lot
to the classroom for his kids and they enjoy
being a part of it. He has a keen understanding
of his kids, their needs and interests.
"His long career in our district has seen him
wearing many hats. Teacher, coach, lead-teacher,
master of ceremonies, auctioneer, jog-a-thon,
you name it and he is there.
"We appreciate all the many years of service and
support for our students, the district and
community in which he serves."

Classified employee of the month Wendy White
also hails from Mt. Hall Elementary, where she
cooks the sumptuous meals the students enjoy.
"Each day when the students enter the building,
they are greeted with wonderful smells coming
from the kitchen where she is hard at work
preparing their food," Nash said. "She does so
with a smile on her face and always a kind word.
The kids are well taken care of and are very
comfortable, volunteering to help. I am drawn
toward the kitchen by the scent of fresh bread
baking, and boy can she bake.
We greatly appreciate her dedication and many
years of outstanding service for our school, the
kids and the community. Congratulations!" |
