Museum receives antique and collectible items;
some will go on exhibit, some to be sold |
July 20, 2015 |
Boundary County Historical Society and Museum
has been bequeathed numerous antiques,
collectibles, and household items from the
Estate of Michael Ross McCall, who passed away
September, 2014.
According to Sue Kemmis, museum curator, the
Museum is in the process of accessioning those
items which have historic value to Boundary
County and will enhance the museum’s collection.
Ms. Kemmis adds that it was Mr. McCall's wish
that the additional items be used to raise funds
for the Museum. Those items will be
auctioned through Sater’s Auction on U.S.
Highway 2 over the next several weeks.
Preview of items will be each Wednesday
afternoon and the morning prior to auction on
Thursdays. The auction begins each
Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Sale of items will begin
the week of July 20, 2015.
Proceeds of this sale will benefit programs and
exhibits that the Historical Society and Museum
are able to provide the community.
