Hiring fair set in Post Falls |

Employment in sales, customer service, health
care, manufacturing, accounting and skilled
trades are some of the positions available at
the September 14 hiring event sponsored by the
Idaho Department of Labor Kootenai County
office. Twenty-four employers have more than 350
openings for immediate hire. The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Idaho Department of Labor, 600 N. Thornton Street, Post Falls. Kootenai Health is looking to fill 200 plus positions, many in non-health care areas such housekeeping, customer service and office administrations. Manufacturing positions are also in demand with Litehouse, Sunshine Minting and Cascade Windows having posted more than 30 positions. Particularly hard-to-fill positions are for skilled and craft labor. Several staffing agencies list light industrial, office, accounting and general labor among their biggest needs to fill. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes, be prepared to fill out applications and be interviewed.
