117th Audubon Society bird count a week away |
December 22, 2016 |
Do you like to watch birds? Do you need help
identifying your feathered friends? Please
consider joining the Audubon Society’s 117th
Annual Bird Count on Wednesday, December 28 ...
and don't forget to fill your feeders!
The group will start at the Badger’s Den
Restaurant at 6 a.m. and spend the day traveling
the county looking and listening for birds.
Dress for the weather, bring a lunch, binoculars
and a bird book if you have it.
For more information, email
bfbirdcount@gmail.com or contact Kathy at
(208) 267-8295.
For all other folks, please do not be alarmed if
a car or two of birders stops on the road in
front of your house looking at your bird feeder.
They are counting birds. Birders respect private
property and are grateful to those who fill
their feeder several days before as well as on
the day of the Audubon Society bird count. |
