Boundary County friends and families are invited
to join Lee Harris, captain of the Bonners Ferry
international snow sculpting team, as she and
her team create an original snow sculpture in
our very own back yard!
Lee and her team have represented the United
States for two years running at the Winnipeg,
Manitoba, snow sculpting festival.
These local snow artists will be creating an
original sculpture behind the Boundary County
Museum Friday and Saturday, January 20-21,
beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout
the daylight hours.
All ages are welcome to come and watch as the
winter sculpture takes form.
Folks who are interested in creating an
independent snow sculpture alongside of Lee and
her team are also welcome. If you are interested
in doing this please contact Lee at (208)
290-3826 before Tuesday, January 17.
Lee welcomes independent artists, however snow
blocks have to be pre-formed, you must bring
your own tools and dress appropriately for hours
spent outside in the winter weather. Children
must be accompanied by adults at all times. |
