Three school board seats up for election |

March 1, 2017 |
Voters will be asked to decide who will sit on
the Boundary County School District 101 board
for the next four years as the Zones 1, 2, and 5
Trustee positions are up for election on May 16,
2017.
The Zone 1 Trustee position is currently held by
Ron MacDonald, Zone 2 is currently held by
Beverly Krichbaum, and Zone 5 is currently held
by Nichele Whittaker. Trustees serve four year
terms beginning July 1.
If interested, Declaration of Candidacy forms
are available at the school district office,
7188 Oak Street, Bonners Ferry, or at the
Boundary County Clerk’s office.
Completed applications must be filed with the
district clerk no later than 5 p.m. Friday,
March 17. If running as a write-in candidate,
April 1 is the last day the Declaration of
Intent form can be filed with the district
clerk.
The Boundary County Clerk runs all elections.
