Stuermer seeks donations for medical mission |
March 9, 2017 |
Pharmacist Aimee Stuermer, Bonners Ferry, will
be returning to Guatemala on Friday, March 10,
to volunteer once again with a Faith in Practice
medical mission. Unfortunately, she's nowhere
near reaching the amount of donations she'd
hoped for to provide the level of care she would
like to.
"I am so excited to go again, since the last
mission changed my life and that of the
thousands of people we helped," she wrote. "Help
me bring healing to the poor of Guatemala by
making a donation to Faith In Practice."
Donations don't cover her costs for the trip,
she pays those on her own, but they do help
cover the cost of medicines, supplies, patient
transportation to and from our facilities,
clinic set up and operations, and food and
shelter for patients who are awaiting or
recovering from treatment.
Each mission costs $32,000 beyond the personal
expenses of travel and volunteering time and
expertise to Faith in Practice. The Wells
Village Team, comprised of volunteers from many
medical disciplines, will be serving the poor
and sick of Guatemala for one week, serving over
2,500 Guatemalans.
Aimee had hoped to raise $1,000 for the mission,
but with only one day until her flight, only
$109 has been donated.
Donating is fast, easy, and secure, just go to

"I truly appreciate any support you can
provide," Aimee said. "It will help bring
healing to thousands! Thanks so much for
journeying with me in this life-changing
mission!" |
