Mixed emotions and May Madness |
May 23, 2017 |
By Principal Kevin Dinning
It is difficult for me to explain the mixed
emotions that surround the end of the school
year. Students, teachers, staff members, family
members, and coaches have Senioritis.
We are all ready for graduation, and not ready
for graduation at the same time.

Thanks to Mr.
Knaggs, dapper Mondays are now the norm
at BFHS! |
We want our students to move out into the work
force or post-secondary education, but we also
worry about whether we have prepared them for
life outside of Boundary County School District.
Continually, we must hope that we have because
we are graduating another class on June 3!
Way to go Class of 2017!
Noteworthy Dates:
May 25, 30, and 31: Senior Finals
June 1: Graduation Breakfast, Graduation Practice, Senior Tea, Senior
Awards, and Honor Cord Ceremony
June 3: Graduation Ceremony at 1 pm
June 5-7: 9th-11th Grade Finals
June 8: Last Day of School
Props to Mr. Josh Knaggs for orchestrating a
push to make Mondays more than just the start of
the week. Mr. Knaggs has started a tradition
that Mondays are the day to dress our best at
BFHS.
We have had many staff members, and some
students, participate throughout the spring, and
we were able to get some of us in the same place
for a picture.
Thanks to all those staff that have been willing
to make Badger Awesome Monday happen.

Stockdale. |
Kevin Gray and Grace Coughlin were chosen by our
staff as the two nominees for North Idaho
Student/Teacher Achievement Recognition program.
Grace nominated Tess Nix, and Kevin Gray
nominated Joe Stockdale.
Thanks to all of you for representing BFHS so
well!
As I put the pen down for this last article,
please, remember that I need your feedback and
support. I am busy, but never too busy to hear
about how we can improve our school.
Come and see us at graduation, and send the
Class of 2017 off in the same Badger Awesome
spirit they have championed at BFHS. As always,
it is a privilege to be Principal at Bonners
Ferry High School.
From BFHS staff and students, thank you Boundary
County! |
