Idaho Indian Education Summit starts Monday |

More than 100 educators, higher education staff,
tribal education directors and tribal leaders
will be attending the 2017 Idaho Indian
Education Summit sponsored by the Idaho
Department of Education and the Idaho State
Board of Education.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. on Monday, June
12, at the Red Lion Downtowner, W1800 Fairview
Avenue, in downtown Boise. Superintendent Sherri
Ybarra will be addressing attendees on Tuesday
during the luncheon.
The focus of the Idaho Indian Education Summit
is to help educators identify strategies and
obtain knowledge they can use in the classroom
to promote equitable learning practices for
American Indian students.
