Opening on state tax commission |
July 26, 2017 |
Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter announced today that
applications are being accepted until the close
of business on Friday, August 18, for a seat on
the four-member Idaho State Tax Commission.
With two Democrats already serving on the Tax
Commission, applicants must not be registered
Democrats since State law requires that no more
than two commissioners be from any one political
party.
The Tax Commission administers and collects
Idaho’s individual and corporate income tax,
sales tax, fuels tax and other State taxes,
supervises administration of local property
taxes, and administers unclaimed property.
Commissioners are appointed by the Governor
subject to confirmation by the Idaho Senate.
To apply, can go to
http://gov.idaho.gov/pdf/ApplicationForAppointment2016.pdf,
and either fill out the form online and print it
out or print the blank application form, fill it
out by hand and submit it by mail – with a
resume – to the address at the top of the form.
The completed application and resume also can be
scanned and emailed to
ann.beebe@gov.idaho.gov, or faxed to the
attention of Ann Beebe at 208-334-3454.
Contact Ann Beebe at (208) 854-3028 with any
questions. |
