Priest River woman succumbs to crash injuries |

A Priest River woman died Monday of injuries she
sustained in a single vehicle crash one week
earlier on Highway 95 near Silverwood Theme
Park.
According to the Idaho State Police, Shelley L.
Swoboda, 50, was driving a blue 2004 Ford F-150
pickup north on Highway 95 at about 8:20 a.m.
Monday, August 14, when she left the road and
went into the median.
She immediately re-entered the northbound lane,
but overcorrected, rolling the truck. She was
not wearing a seatbelt.
She was airlifted to Kootenai Health in Coeur
d'Alene, and later transferred to Sacred Heart
Medical Center, Spokane, where she died. |
