Gearing up for the Festival of Hearts |
November 7, 2017 |
The 2018 Fry Healthcare Foundation's Festival of
Hearts takes place at 6 p.m. Saturday, February
10, at the Kootenai River Inn.
The Festival of Hearts is the foundation's major
fundraising event of the year to raise funds for
Boundary Community Hospital.
With the money from the 2017 Festival of Hearts,
combined with funds from the 2016 Golf
Tournament, the Fry Healthcare Foundation was
able to fund the entire $41,000 for the
Spacelabs Healthcare Cardiac Monitoring Central
Station Control System for Boundary Community
Hospital.
They have an ambitious goal for 2018 — to
purchase two Stryker Gurneys for Outpatient
Surgery as well as up to two AccuVein AV400 Vein
Visualization Instruments for Emergency and the
Medical Laboratory.
The Festival of Hearts will feature a specially
prepared five-course dinner with wine, the "Way
to Your Heart Dessert Dash," "Open Your Heart
Fund-an-Item" and "Follow Your Heart Live
Auction."
Platinum sponsorships are $1,500 and include up
to eight dinner tickets. Gold sponsor, $1,000,
includes four dinner tickets, silver
sponsorships are $750 and include two dinner
tickets.
Donor categories are Diamond, $1,000 or more,
Bronze, $500-$999, and Copper, $250 to $499.
Open Your Heart Donor Donations of any amount
specifically for Fund-An-Item are also welcome.
Dinner tickets are $60 each and will be
available beginning January 8 until February 2
while they last. Seating is limited and expected
to go quickly.
