Air quality advisory extended |
December 11, 2017 |
A week-long air quality advisory issued on
Friday has been extended for an additional day,
and will remain in effect until 10 a.m. Friday,
December 15.
Pollutants may increase this week. Regional air
quality sensors range from good to moderate now,
but light winds and an anticipated strong
inversion will increase the potential for the
build up of air pollution and deteriorating air
quality.
Persons with respiratory issues should follow
the advice of their physician on how to deal
with poor air quality. Outdoor burning may be
limited, depending on how much air quality
deteriorates. |
