This week’s Badger Awesome Student of the Week
is Ryne Rae! Ryne is a junior at Bonners Ferry
High School in Mr. Tyler Warner’s U.S. History
class.
"Ryne is an exceptional student who strives to
reach every challenge in front of him," Warner
said. "He takes advantage of the rigorous
classes BFHS has to offer such as zero hour Jazz
Band, Symphonic Band, AP English, Calculus, and
Design for Manufacturing. He also takes
advantage of college credit opportunities at the
high school like Science and Aerospace and a
course in Hebrew."
Ryne has a 4.0 GPA. He is also tangled in many
extra-curricular activities. He is an active
member of the new TSA chapter at BFHS, is deeply
involved on the robotics team during
winter/spring, and participates in cross country
in the fall.
One of his favorite out-of-school activities is
geocaching. Ryne is a very busy guy, but he
still manages to magnificently balance work and
play.
Mr. Warner particularly appreciates Ryne’s
enthusiasm and how he approaches
problem-solving.
“Ryne is very creative,” said Warner. “He often
looks for perspectives others have not. He’s
also a very dedicated worker. In cross country
he attacks every challenge, never complains
about the workload, helps the team, and does his
best to improve every single week.”
Warner also noted that Ryne is a fun student to
have in class and brings a bounty of laughs and
insightful commentary.
Congratulations Ryne! |
