Leftover deer, elk tags going on sale |

Approximately 156 deer and 161 elk controlled
hunt tags not issued during the recent second
drawing for deer, elk, pronghorn and black bear
will go on sale first come, first served August
25 at 11 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
Leftover tags are available for purchase at all
Fish and Game license vendors, online at
https://idfg.idaho.gov, or by calling
1-800-554-8685.
There are no leftover tags available for black
bear or pronghorn. A list of available tags by
hunt number is posted on Fish and Game’s website
under the “Licenses” tab https://idfg.idaho.gov/tag/controlled-hunt/unclaimed.
Many hunters are choosing to increase their
opportunity and enjoy some extra time in the
field by purchasing second tags for deer and
