Jordan back on the 'Dirty Dozen' |
November 7, 2017 |
By Coach Tyler Warner
Last week we had an all district one coaches
meeting where we selected what we call the
“Dirty Dozen,” which is essentially our
All-District 1 Idaho Cross Country team.
The Dirty Dozen is generally selected by all of
the District 1 coaches by examining not only the
best times, but overall performance, especially
at State.
Jordan Young was selected as a member of the
Dirty Dozen this year.
Jordan finished her senior season as the most
successful Bonners Ferry runner in nearly a
decade. She took first place in three races, and
top six in three others.
Jordan finished her season by finishing 12th at
state.
She took a district championship this season
with a time of 19:55 and broke a school record
that stood since 2008 by running 19:30 at
Lewiston. This is Jordan’s second consecutive
Dirty Dozen selection, and she was a state
medalist every year she competed in cross
country. |
